3rd Annual Hike For Hunger - Wil Zucker November 5 - 12, 2011
For the third year, Wil Zucker of LAVA will “Hike for Hunger”. As loyal followers of The Food Basket will remember, Wil sets out from KTA Puainako with a goal to raise awareness about hunger on the Island of Hawai`i. He walks from KTA to KTA (see below), reaching KTA Keauhou on the last day.
Wil has a goal of 75,000 pounds of food that he would like to raise to “feed the hungry on the Island of Hawai`i. Wil will kick off this year’s event on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the Downtown-Hilo KTA. We will be accepting food and monetary donations at the following locations:
